Nallatur Village, Tamil Nadu
On 5th February 2023, alumni brothers conducted the annual sports day at Sathya Sai Rural school in Nallattur village located in Tiruttani Taluka of Thiruvallur district in Tamil Nadu. This is the day Swami inaugurated the school in 1985. To commemorate Bhagawan’s visit to the village, the alumni undertake pallaki seva visiting each house in the village, distributing prasadam and also facilitating families to offer their love and prayers to Swami.
Medical camp at Brindavan Ashram on First Sunday of every month
Alumni brothers participated in the Medical camp at Brindavan Ashram, Bengaluru on 5th of February 2023. The medical camp conducted on first Sunday of every month, also marked 27 years anniversary since it was inaugurated at the Brindavan Ashram.
Medical Camp starts at 6am and ends until the last patient is diagnosed. Patients are treated for Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Gynecology, General Medicine, Homeopathy medicine, Ayurveda Medicine, Natural Medicines and Verbo Medicine.
Around 300 Alumnus, batches ranging from year 1970 to recent 2022 batch were present during the Camp, including all the pre and post medical camp work. Some of them came with their families. Free Medical treatments and medicines were given to patients by Camp Medical departments. Breakfast was served to Diabetic Patients and lunch (Narayana Seva) served to 400 number of patients and to their attendees.
Next medical camp is on 5th of March 2023 at Brindavan Ashram, will start at 6 am.
Nutriblend Sathumavu distribution in Sri Sathya Sai Nursery & Primary School in Ambattur, Tamil Nadu
On 4th February 2023, Alumni brother Venkat Jayaram (B.Com, 1972 – 1975, Brindavan Campus) distributed nutriblend sathumaavu (a nutritious multigrain mix powder) to school children of Sri Satya Sai Nursery and Primary School, Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This was sponsored by his company PAFOOTWEAR Private Ltd, and distributes every month to approximately 1400 children in schools located in remote areas near Ponneri and Gummidipoondi, which were identified by Sri Satya Sai Organization, Tamilnadu.
