Guruprasad,
MBA 2012-2014 Prasanthi Nilayam

We have been blessed to have you sir. I still remember how with a smile you used to make us do extra push ups during the jogging sessions if we came late. You always carried beaming smile on face and that can come only through pure love in heart. I have been touched by your compassion sir. You have been blessed by the supreme almighty to have a wonderful divine career sir. I pray swami to keep you always close to his heart and keep us close to your heart. Let this saga of divine love continue every time we are born sir .Wish you loads of happiness and peaceful healthy retired life sir.

To the most loving Warden sir,
There is no one who will fit in my mind who understood the love, mischief, pains, tantrums and the overall psyche of Swami’s boys. S-cube as we lovingly refer to Warden sir, stood with us as a pillar of support whenever we needed it, be it even in front of Swami. I never could fathom how, being so elder to us in age, he would understand us so well, remain fit, inspire us to just give and take the only thing – love. I was fortunate to learn Physics also from you sir, but the Professor of Physics was only a means that Swami chose to gift all of us, your younger brothers as you would address, a loving elder brother – a guide, an example and a true instrument of Swami that we all strive to emulate. Much love and praying for your good health.

Sairam,
Warden sir has been a blessing to all of Swami’s students. His smile and always youthful outlook has been a reminder to me that Bhagawan wants me also to spread joy all around me. I pray to Swami to bless warden sir with many more decades of service to Swami and that he may lead a happy, healthy, smiling life always. I still recollect how we helped me an outsider in Prasanthi Nilayam hostel in 2004 and guided me to settle down and reduce my anger/ shortcomings. I am always indebted to him as he pointed out that Swami alone must be our goal and our every action must be done as an offering to him i.e. we must offer our best always. Once again, I pray to Swami to always bless Warden sir.

Sairam!
First person I met in the hostel when I joined 1985 was shri. Siva Shankara Sai garu. He helped me to carry luggage to allotted room on that day. I remember, with beautiful smile in his face, soft and gently he asked about me and helped. I am from commerce background so no direct connection with Sir in academics. Very nice person, I congratulate Sir for being in SWAMI’s services in many folds. Sairam I pray our Swami bless him with Good health strength to work in his mission for many times.

it’s been so inspiring to have lived with you. Your loving nature and calmness you show in everything you undertake makes you so lovable among the students and teachers alike.

Dear Sir,
I had the best years of my life while at Prasanthi Nilayam in the hostel when you were the warden. Thanks for everything. As you retire from active duty and look forward to your next phase of life, I wish you all the best and pray to Swami to give you good health and happiness forever. Sairam.

Sir,
I want you to know that there are no doubts about the positive impact you’ve had as a teacher and warden in our lives. You’ve shown us that a leader can be soft spoken, kind, empathetic and still achieve their goals. Wishing you all the happiness and most importantly, health in the many years to come. Loving Sairam!

Mahesh,
(M.Sc 2000-02)

I will always remember the loving smile you have Sir, even when scolding the students. Your faith in Swami, love for His work and adoption of His teachings in practice are epitomized in this simple action. Thank you Sir for your kindness in managing generations of Sai students.

Shivakumar Kannan,
(MBA-F 2008-10)

Sairam sir,
I will always hold you among the dearest people I have interacted with during my 2 years of MBA and hostel stay. From my very first meeting with you in the Warden’s office till date, you’ve remained ever charming with a warm, welcoming smile and soft spoken demeanour, much like Swami expects from each of us. I hold you in very high regard and admiration for your selfless service to Swami’s mission and inspiring all of our lives by the personal example you’ve set. On this momentous occasion, I pray to Bhagwan to bless you with good health and the strength to continue serving the Lord and being the beacon of light for all of us.

Sairam Siva Sankara Sai ji,
I Have known you since my Prasanthi Nilayam hostel days. Very silent, kind-hearted person. He has been Veda Guru to many of the hostel boys. I was happy to meet him recently he looked the same person even now. Wishing you the abundance that Swami always blesses you with. Sairam.

A. Srinivas Rao,
Batch : 1979-88

Sairam Shiva Shankar Sai sir,
You are one of the best Sai students I have met. The very sight of you would inspire any young student to study in Swami’s college. You were my first Veda teacher and I consider myself fortunate to be taught Veda by you, who has learnt Veda from Ghanapati Kamavadhani garu. You spared your precious time and took pains to teach us vedas everyday, early in the morning and after the evening bhajans. I express my heartfelt gratitude to you for that. You have been the most exemplary student, teacher, and hostel warden. Thank you for everything. Best wishes a wonderful retired life sir.

Ravikanth Jagarlapudi,
1993-98

Sri Shiva Shankar Sai sir was our warden when we were at Prasanthi Nilayam between 1993-98. We fondly know him as S-cube, he has dedicated his entire life to Swami and His students. I remember Swami had to nudge him to go and attend his mother’s funeral, such was his dedication. His punishments were also sweet, I remember once I was listening to bhajans during study hours and he punished me by asking me to be the first boy to attend Suprabhatam!
We are indebted to Swami for giving us such dedicated devotee like Sir. Recently when he was unwell all of us prayed for his well being.
May Swami continue to Bless him and may he continue to guide all of us towards Him. Sairam!

Murari Madhab Mishra,
PSN Hostel, 1997-2002

Dear Sir,
I studied at HIS lotus feet for 5 years and all of these years were spent under your loving supervision in the hostel. We have grown up under your eyes and sometimes mischievously under your nose. So many days, you would come tell us to go to sleep with your ‘why why why’ tag line. Haven’t seen anyone discipline students that we would look forward to 🙂 I had fought for staying during puja vacation that one time Swami went to Trayee and had seen a sterner side of you as well. I cherish each of those memories and remember you recalling me with ‘triple M’ passcode 🙂
Happy to know of your upcoming milestone sir. May Swami bless us all with His grace and love. Sairam.

I had the good fortune of living in the hostel where sir was the warden. He was like a true parent for me and all the students living in the hostel. I am so grateful to Swamy for giving giving us a Loving teacher/hostel warden Prof. Sri Siva Sankara Sai sir. He has spent all his life in service of Swamy and Students. Thank you sir.

Lakshminarayana Kote,

Sairam. Myself and Shivashankar Sai were classmates in Brindavan campus. Both of us joined P.U.C in the year 1976. He was a disciplined boy, worked hard in studies. Above all, SWAMI used to ask him to speak before the bhajan sessions in Telugu. Of course, he had enacted in many dramas directed by SWAMI himself. A soft spoken person, never hurt anybody. A person who has dedicated his entire life at the Lotus Feet of Bhagawan. As a close friend of mine, I pray our Sweet Mother Sai to Shower HIS Choicest Blessings on him always.
Jai Sai Ram.

Ramanan Mahalingam,
SSSHSS, BSc and MSc Bio.1986-1997

Sai Ram sir,
This is Ramanan Mahalingam the only NRH (Non-Resident Hosteler). The memorable times I had in the hostel, especially during hostel programs, would not have happened without your support. The atmosphere in the hostel was the perfect balance between freedom, discipline, and spirituality under your leadership.
Thank you sir and all the best.

Saikiran,
MFM 1999-01

There are no words to describe Warden sir. His ever smiling countenance under the most trying of circumstances (which is nearly all the time in hostel!) is an inspiration to all the students who have had the opportunity to stay with Sir in Swamis hostel. A true Sai student and Students’ favorite warden, I cannot stop smiling even thinking about Sir. Very few people evoke this emotion and that shows what he meant to the boys. He will always be our favorite warden.

Harish Krishan B,
MBA, 2003 to 2005

Beloved warden sir (I wonder how many hostelites would have the fortune of sincerely stating these words – often considered an oxymoron – beloved warden). You are “the young boy whom Swami keeps taking to” to our parents. You are the Prof. Snap to all of us students (Snapping your fingers to the tune of Sairam brothers… While waking us up). You are the bolster of support to your colleagues. What you are to Swami is beyond anyone’s comprehension. Congratulations on being re-tired. Hope you finally get some time for yourself. Sairam.
