2007 Oct Autumn Edition
Dear Brothers,
Sairam and heartfelt greetings to all of you.
Bhagavan’s divine mission on earth has entered its ninth decade. If He so wishes, He can accomplish His mission by His mere Sankalpa (will). As He explained once, ”I don’t need to make a sankalpa for these little things (relating to worldly affairs). I made only one Sankalpa, – to incarnate. Everything else follows.” On another occasion, He observed, “If it is only a question of God’s sankalpa, Rama could have said, ‘Ravana, you die. Sita, you come. The entire Ramayana would have been rendered redundant. The Ramayana was enacted to demonstrate to the world the devotion of Hanuman.”
Sai students in the Kali Yuga are indeed a blessed lot. They are recipients of the most precious thing in the world – the Lord’s time and His sannidhi (proximity). How can we show our gratitude to Swami? He told students once in Trayee, “In your association with Me, sacred feelings and thoughts emerged in your heart. Share it with others. That is your gratitude to Me.”
To share Bhagavan with others is to share His selfless love. He says, “I call upon you to radiate the devotion within you so that its unseen power will envelop all who come into your orbit. To successfully perform your part, always remain centered on Me. You are My instruments through which My love will pour. Be always aware that the moment you let your ego descend upon you My work ceases. When you have overcome your negative unmindfulness, you will again become My source.”
In the divine master plan that is unfolding before our eyes, we pray that we play at least the squirrel’s role.
With Love
SJ,.
